Ozones Hip Hop Showcase, in a partnership with HomeSpun Websites, is proud to announce that Foodwars 3 will be held on May 29th, 2010 at the Bossanova Ballroom in Portland Oregon.
Foodwars is the shining jewel of our charity events. It is a canned food drive / hip hop popularity contest pitting 20 local acts against each other to see whos respective fanbases can donate the most canned food, both the night of the event and in the months leading up to it.
All food raised goes directly to the tables of poor Portland families via our friends at Impact NW, a local nonprofit organization whos mission is to provide families with the tools needed for self sufficiency. This will be the 6th time we have worked with these wonderful people.
